I won first place in the Colors of Life Show 2010.  This is a very exciting moment for me.  It feels great to be recognized while helping out this organization as it raises money to help children at the Institue of Neurology of Guatemala.

Exhibitions of the 35 finalist photographs will be held in Washington DC with the Embassy of Guatemala (November-December), at Capital One Corporate Gallery, Richmond, VA (January-March), Art Works, Richmond,VA (April-May).

A portion of the funds collected from sales of artists’ works and otherwise at exhibitions will support the Instituto Neurológico de Guatemala (Institute of Neurology of Guatemala), a private non-profit organization actively providing and giving assistance to underprivileged children with special learning needs.
